A Local Quarry with a
Circular Approach
West Yorkshire Aggregates & Recycling operates from our quarry at Rawdon, on the north-west side of Leeds. We supply the stone and sand that builders and contractors rely on, and we take back the inert waste their sites produce, turning it into recycled aggregate. It is a simple idea: keep good material in use and out of landfill.
Our quarry
Our Rawdon site combines extraction, crushing, screening and recycling in one place. That gives us control over quality, keeps stock levels healthy and lets us price fairly. Its location gives quick access to Leeds, Bradford, the Aire Valley and the wider West Yorkshire road network.

Our approach
Quality first
Material is graded and tested so it performs as specified.
Recycle wherever we can
Inert waste becomes useful aggregate instead of landfill.
Reliable service
Clear prices, delivery when promised, and people who answer the phone.
Good neighbours
We work to our permit conditions on dust, noise and traffic, and respect the local community around Rawdon.
Sustainability
Every tonne of recycled aggregate we produce is a tonne that does not need to be quarried, and a tonne that does not go to landfill. For contractors working to carbon targets, BREEAM or social value requirements, we can supply the documentation to evidence recycled content.
